The company is based in the Auvergne region of France, where the volcanic soil and the high sunny fields enable the finest Puy lentils to be produced.
The range now offered by Sabarot includes several pulses as well as Le Puy lentils, and flavoursome dried wild mushrooms. It also includes the Helix Lucorum variety of Escargots, in pack sizes and formats suitable for retail and foodservice.
Why We Love Them
The quality of the Sabarot range is second to none. The lentils are protected by the AOC (“Appellation d’Origine Controlée”), and are produced exclusively in Le Puy to the most stringent standards.
