Founded in 1908, and still in family ownership, Meica has a modern, state-of-the-art factory in Edewecht, north Germany.
The Products
Only the finest cuts of meat are used for Meica German sausages, and the meat content is over 70% - no competitor comes close to this. Mechanically recovered meat is never used, nor are additives or artificial colourings.
Why We Love Them
It isn't surprising that Meica is Germany's No.1 brand of jarred sausages. Quite apart from the convenience of the products, they have a special taste which results from being smoked over beechwood.
