RH Amar Charity Prize Draw – Terms and Conditions
The charity prize draw (“Charity Prize Draw”) is open to Customers and Brand Partners of RH Amar (“RHA”, “We”) who complete the online nomination survey.
Employees of RHA, their family members or anyone else connected with the Charity Prize Draw may not enter the Charity Prize Draw.
Entrants into the Charity Prize Draw shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
To enter the Charity Prize Draw you must nominate a charity by completing the online nomination survey. The nominated charity must be registered in the UK. No purchase is necessary.
Only one entry per company is permitted. In the event more than one entry is received from the same company, RHA will use the first entry received and discard any subsequent entries.
The opening date for nominations is 08:00 GMT on 5 October 2020. The closing date for nominations is 17:00 GMT on 30 October 2020. Nominations received outside this time period will not be considered. RHA accepts no responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt by RHA.
RHA reserves the right to exclude entries from the Charity Prize Draw if it deems, in its sole discretion, the nominated charity conflicts with the heritage and values of RHA, may bring negative publicity to RHA by being associated with it, or for any other reason that may harm the reputation of RHA.
Five nominations will be chosen from a random draw of nominations received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draw will be performed at random. The draw will take place on 13 November 2020.
RHA will make donations directly to the nominated charity of the winning nominations. The donations will be: one of £50,000; one of £10,000; three of £5,000.
The winners will be notified by email or phone (using the details provided at entry) on or before 27 November 2020. If a winner does not respond to RHA within 14 days of being notified by RHA, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and RHA shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above (and that winner will have to respond to notification of their win within 14 days or else they will also forfeit their prize, and so on). If a winner rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the winner’s prize will be forfeited and RHA shall be entitled to select another winner.
RHA does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
The name and country of the winners can be obtained from 14 November 2020 by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the following address: Charity Prize Draw, RH Amar, Turnpike Way, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire HP12 3TF.
The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
The winners may be required to participate in publicity related to the Charity Prize Draw, which may include the publication of their name and photograph in any media for an unlimited time and without compensation or prior notice, and the winner shall participate in such activity on RHA’s reasonable request.
Insofar as is permitted by law, RHA shall not in any circumstances be responsible for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Charity Prize Draw. RHA further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s property relating to or resulting from participation in the Charity Prize Draw. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude the liability of RHA for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence.
RHA reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Charity Prize Draw with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of RHA in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
RHA shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
The Charity Prize Draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the Charity Prize Draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
